e-Golf. All fun, no fuel.

Volkswagen goes electric.

Introducing the e-Golf, the first VW in the US that you plug in, not gas up.

  • Zero-tailpipe emissions
  • Hatchback versatility

Funny. It still looks just like a Golf.

The e-Golf may look familiar because it's designed like the Golf. Sleek, smart, and sophisticated, you can go electric and look great doing it.

A battery that gives you your space.

Due to its clever battery design, the e-Golf has 52.7 cu. ft. of cargo space when the rear seats are folded down. Which means it's as roomy and versatile as the original Golf.

One drive and you'll almost forget it's electric.

It's got a range of up to 83 miles. And with an impressive 115-hp electric motor, and 199 lb-ft of torque, you'll enjoy every single one of them.

Maximum torque that responds instantly. Three driving modes with Normal/Eco/Eco+. Three regenerative braking modes

Out there, yet under your control.

The smartphone app for VW Car-Net lets you check the battery level on your e-Golf, turn on your air-conditioning or heat from afar, and even activate charging from your compatible smartphone

  • Makes charging easy and convenient
  • Schedules and activates charging
  • Helps you save energy

A genius connection for your smart phone.

VW Car-Net App-Connect lets you access your compatible smartphone's music, maps, messaging, and more on your dash using Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, or MirrorLink

  • Displays customized version of compatible smartphone on center
  • Compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and MirrorLink
  • Supports VW-developed and third-party apps

Use more. Worry less.

The e-Golf offers an 8-year limited warranty on its 24.2 kWh battery, and it also comes with Roadside Assistance for 3 years or 36,000 miles (whichever comes first), which gives you a little more peace of mind on every drive.

Front Assist

The available Forward Collision Warning system (included in Front Assist) has sensors in the front to help monitor traffic and can alert you to a potential collision. If a collision is imminent, Autonomous Emergency Braking (included in Front Assist) can help brake the car.

Lane Assist

When moving, the available Lane Departure Warning (Lane Assist) can sense if you start to drift into another lane without using the turn signal. On most models, Lane Assist will help steer to help keep you in the correct lane.
