One of the most distinctive differences between the trim levels is the 4MOTION ® drivetrain. Trim levels with this feature will have it listed in their name. 4MOTION ® is an all-wheel drive system created by Volkswagen which optimizes power between all four wheels for a controlled drive. Another distinction between the trim levels that you may have noticed is that the lowest trim level is the only one lacking the V6 in its title. This is because the lowest trim level is the only one with a 2.0 L Turbo engine, instead of the 3.6 L V6 engine that the others come with. This creates the stark difference in fuel economy and horsepower which you can see in the chart above. Past those two differences, the trim levels differ in standard features. In general, the more expensive trim levels will have better air conditioning systems, bigger touchscreen displays, and more luxury features.
