I purchased a car from New Century VW in March and they never registered the car with DMV. They have yet to rectify the issue eight months later and I cannot register it myself with DMV. I have contacted them many times and they have done nothing.
I'd like to share my experience with New Century Volkswagen, and it's a tale of frustration and disappointment.
I recently had my VW ID.4 towed to New Century Volkswagen due to a car issue caused by a power surge from Electrify America. What followed was a series of mishaps that left me thoroughly dissatisfied with their service department.

Been a faithful customer since 2003. The door lock mechanism failed on my 2015 Tiguan. The initial quote was $786. After diagnosis, the total was $893! Very expensive compared to other dealerships. Service also wanted to replace the serpentine belt, an item that would take a qualified mechanic less than 15 minutes to perform at an inflated cost of $253 (charging an hours worth of labor). Seriously? Here's the rub. They were willing to give me a 10% discount if I purchased both services. When I declined the belt service, there was no discount available. I will never visit them again. Worst Service Dept. Customer service They never answer the phone Most expensive among other VW dealerships.
I've purchased and leased a lot of cars in my lifetime and never met a more deceptive dealer EVER! They tried to charge me twice for the bank/acquisition fee.........both added in with the price of the car and charged it up front in the inception fees. We wound up leasing the car elsewhere and since found out that New Century has tried that same "trick" on other people that I know. They should be investigated by the Consumer Protection Agency and BBB. They are really worthy of NO stars.
If I can give 0 stars I would. Horrible service department, nobody knows what’s going on, the technician is not around to answer questions and forget about loaner cars. This was my second attempt to do business with this dealer. The first time the finance guy, who is no longer there, tried to rip me off by charging me for the acquisition fee twice, once in the capitalized cost and once in the inception fees. I should have learned my lesson, but when my lease was over and I had a chance to buy my car off lease for $11,800 I was quoted over $15,000 by this dealer. I went to a different VW dealer that night and wound up saving over $7,500. DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALER!!!
The managers/ people running this dealership out of their mind and preying on clueless customers when it comes to car buying. Marking up a car $10k to satisfy the greed is never right. An ID 4 top line at $47k marked up $10k and they think that's ok, you guys are out of your freagin mind.

Would honestly give them 0 stars if that was possible. To make a long story they do not conduct their business with integrity. They sold my sister a used vehicle that was genuinely not even safe to drive off the lot and refuse to take responsibility or even assist her in any way shape or form. So -12/10 do not recommend purchasing from them take your business elsewhere.
A warning to all those shopping for a new electric car….whatever you do, do not test drive a Volkswagen. Horrific experience yesterday. Made appointment yet had to pay for mall parking. Then required to fill out a questionnaire on a computer even though they had info to make the appointment. Even the person not driving the car. They required email, address, age, gender, how many children in household and their ages….and that’s just to start. We took the car to New Century VW for a recall that we had received on the car. Alex even informed us about a free oil change and also some other free services that our car qualified for. He took care of the car and it was ready to be picked up in less than 4 hours! Thank you for the amazing experience!
Worst encounter I have ever had a car dealer ship. They lied to me about having a car in stock to get me to drive 40 mi to get here. Once I was there I was told they didn’t have the car Andy hen was narrated by manager Bob Morfin. Bob accused me of being responsible for their misunderstand then after I told him that wasn’t appreciated and was leaving yelled “”Jesus” as loud as he could across the sales floor. This even was awful and bob should try a different job. Don’t buy a car here

we bought our VW Turbo beetle brand-new in 2012. We somehow believed that only a VW dealer should work on the car when it needed servicing. We brought it to new century, Volkswagen. Each time we had to commit to paying $150 to have the car looked at, and as an incentive to pay their inflated repair prices, the money would be credited back to the cost of the repair. Don't expect to get the car you are looking at for the advertised price, unless you finance it through Volkswagen Credit. We had our own credit union financing in place when we arrived at the dealership to purchase a Passat that was advertised for $11,933, when it came down to finalizing the purchase, we were told that if we didn't finance it through VCI, the price would $16,998(Kelly Blue Book). Don't buy from these guys. They will cheat you and lure you in with their bait cars which cannot be purchased in cash but can ONLY be financed through VW financing. Bought a car there three weeks ago cash. A 2016 VW Jetta. It had very low miles. It took me a while due to me being undecisive which I could tell was starting to upset the sales agent. I have a 2015 Jetta and my car service only here. The techs are always very helpful with my questions and make sure my car is in perfect condition. I'm thinking of getting a new lease for a new Jetta and Oscar Garcia who I met while I was visiting the dealer for service, showed me the new lease options and that's when I got so excited to know I could trade in my car. I would definitely recommend this dealer.
I was looking for a Volkswagen Tiguan and Oscar Garcia from New Century Volkswagen helped me find the car that I wanted at the best price. This was the only dealership that was truly transparent and provided me with all the incentives from the brand and also provided me with a unique incentive that they could only offer at this dealership. I drive their top of the line 66k touareg tdi executive, and what an assholes to treat a customer in such a way. I turned in my car for a service for front steering wheel noises, which they did not even provide or asked to give a rental car to make the customer happy as its not my fault their car is not as its supposed to be.
